本稿では、短期大学部の食育分野の学習題材のひとつである「お菓子の家」(ジンジャーブレッドハウス)の制作作品を、学生が中心となって学外で展示発表会や制作講習会を行うことによって、地域連携を実践するという能動的体験型学習(アクティブラーニング)における学修者の変化と地域貢献の成果を明らかにすることを報告の目的とする。学生は発表会や講習会における来訪者との交流を通じてコミュニケーション力などを伸ばすと同時に、それが社会において必要であることを経験できた。学生自らがチームワークを発揮して企画することにより、聞くだけの授業にとどまらない体験型学習を実現し、食育とともに人材育成面でも一定の成果が見られた。この一連の取り組みは地域の自治体や近隣企業と連携して行ったものであり、企画した発表会の一部が北九州市の地域活性化の取り組みである「平成27 年度にぎわいづくり認定事業」「平成28
